Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Scoop Vault mobile application operated by ScoopLabs.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Scoop Vault, these terms will automatically apply to you. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. User Responsibilities

Because Scoop Vault is entirely offline, you are solely responsible for remembering your Master Password. We cannot recover, reset, or bypass your Master Password under any circumstances. If you lose your Master Password, you lose access to your vault permanently.

3. Backup Responsibility

Since we do not offer cloud synchronization or automatic cloud backups, you are solely responsible for creating and securing backups of your data. We strongly recommend regularly utilizing the app's encrypted export functionality and storing the resulting file in a safe location. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, loss, theft, or application uninstallation.

4. Local Device Security

Scoop Vault provides robust encryption for the data stored within the app. However, the overall security of your data is also dependent on the security of your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including utilizing strong screen locks and keeping your operating system updated.

5. Liability Limitations

In no event shall ScoopLabs, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the application; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the application; (iii) any unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.

6. Offline Usage Terms

Scoop Vault is designed to function entirely offline. It does not require an internet connection to encrypt, decrypt, or manage your passwords. Any features that may be added in the future will strictly adhere to our offline-first and privacy-first philosophy.
